What is RAW Images?

Images straight from the camera are called Raw Images. It means no editing has been done to the image after copying from the camera.

What is PP or Post Processing?

Any modification done to the image after the image has been captured in the camera is called Post Processing. Image post processing refers to basic exposure correction, color correction, cropping, etc... After reviewing the raw images, if any modifications are needed, we will do some post processing. Not all images will need PP.

What is Traditional Photography?

The Photographer will capture all the rituals and events as it occurs. Lenses used with capture the whole frame in a sharp and flat look.

What is Candid Photography?

Candid works in two ways. One is unplanned images or scenes that happens naturally in the event. The other one is planned candid, in which we direct the subject(s) to pose/act naturally. The main reason to have a separate photographer for candid is, because the lenses/lighting techniques used are different than the traditional photographer. And it allows the traditional photographer to concentrate on their duty. Changing lenses or lighting setup involves time and leads to missing the moment.

Can the Traditional Photographer take Candid Photos?

It can be done only when enough time is given to switch the lens and lighting equipements. Unless otherwise we mention, this wont be done.

What is the difference between Traditional Video and Candid Video?

The camera, lens, lighting style, equipments used are be different. In case of Traditional Video, camcorders will be used and lenses used will capture all details sharply and flat. In case of candid Video, Mirrorless cameras along with gimbal will be used for cinematic look. There will be good separation between subject and background in most scenes. Traditional video is full length, large file size and seen only by close family members. They cannot be easily shared with others. Candid Video is short and shows glimpses of the whole event in a crisp way. It can be shared easily with everyone as the file size is small.

Can the Photographer take short video?

No, Photographer will use camera suitable for Photos and cannot take video.

Can the Traditional Videographer take Candid video?

No, the camera, lens and equipments used for Traditional and Candid Video are different.

Do you take orders outside Chennai?

We do wedding shoots all over Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Based on the distance, we may charge additional charges for travel and stay.

How do we get best results in Candid Photography/Video?

First thing to keep in mind is time. Plan to get makeup done 1hr prior to your event so, we can get enough time to take more Candid Shots.

Communicate with us the venue, stage background, costumes and your recent photo. Based on this, we can plan ahead for posing and lighting techniques.

Sleep well to have bright eyes and relax. Prepare yourself for posing as well.

Photography in Phone?

We do not take photos in guest's phones, as it will be hinderance to our committed job.

It is not easy to carry our camera gear in one hand and click a photo in the other hand with smartphone.

Is makeup really required?

Please DO NOT ignore this part.

Makeup is very essential to get smooth skin texture. Though we do image processing, make up really helps keep less sweating and good skin tones.

Always hire a professional makeup artist for better results. If you need any contacts, please don’t hesitate to ask us.

How to plan for the costumes/dresses?

Again another important aspect for a perfect photo.

Use single or at most two colors for everyone in the main family.

Avoid patterns/typography and try to go with solid plain colors.

Consider the stage backdrop color/theme, while choosing your attire.
